Preach on!

You got my mantra pretty close. Have you read my "Fat Mission"?

I say almost exactly that. It's the ones that complain about being fat, yet do nothing about it, which means they don't see any reason to change the lifestyle that got them to were they are.

Never in a million years would I ever pour two cans of Dr Pepper in with a pint of whip cream. My dear quivering esophagus trembles at the thought of what is going in the stomach and bowels when that nasty concoction goes down. Some of the things these Fatty's-and-Proud say make me want to vomit in the name of prevention.

For those of us who are struggling with our weight and trying to do something about it, these women/men (e.g., Teresa) who embrace their stretched taut skin give us a bad name. Not all of us appreciate having to buy our tunics in size 3X, nor do we think our stretch marks and donuts look sexy. And when you're too fat to fit into a pair of Spanx...well, then it's just gone too far.

The obesity epidemic is out of control. We're too fat and it's NOT healthy. There's got to be something radically wrong, psychologically, with these women [and men] who think it's okay and "sexy" to be that fat and dependent.

I want to point out that this woman (Teresa) 'implies' she has health insurance and the means to provide for herself, should she become sick or have a major health issue as a result of her weight and unhealthy state . . .

If anyone has ever been on an employer sponsored health plan where the boss sends out a notice during open enrollment season to say: "sorry folks, premiums are up $20/month this year" ... well, then you can thank the Teresa's of the world (or at least for $15 of that cost increase, maybe the rest is accounted for by inflation).

A good chunk of rising healthcare costs comes from the burden of paying for people who don't give a rats ass about their health.

PS: McBloggestein -- from what I've read it sounds to me like your gripe is on the folks that complain about being fat, yet binge nevertheless. Is this correct? I'm sort of confused about where your concern is focused.

teresa:

nice that you own up to your lifestile, but as far as defiening those that say fat people are losers with no self respect,... sorry girl, but at 25 and with a colledge diploma, you willingly and consciously allowed yourself to become dependant on your boyfriend to the point where he has to wipe your ass... in my book that's not self respect, that's A WASTE.

i do have a couple questions if you ever read this (and it's not to be malicious, it's only curiosity):

Are your parents proud of you?

Don't you think it's only fair for parents to be able to rely on their kids help when they are old?

Do you think you will ever be able to help them or anyone in your family, should the situation arise, other than by writing a check or a email?

And if not, isn't that kind of selfish?

A little self-abnegation never hurt anyone.
I found this site as it was featured on wordpress.com
Interesting blog--
I'm not into bashing fat people. But-I can see how some people could be.
Have fun.
PS I don't believe in letting oneself become unhealthily overweight-I think it is an abuse of the body.

Fat Bastard,

According to your logic then if someone was a drug-addict and were refusing to stop drugging themselves I must just accept it despise the fact that they might mug me or other people to get money to buy drugs, increase our crime statistics and become a parasite in a few years time that will survive on our taxes?

Hell no, I'd much rather my taxes go to the pensions of the elderly and people who truly deserve it rather than people who self-destroy themselves!!

You can eat as much crap as you want and be as fat as you want to be but do NOT ask us to accept this, you are free to do as you like but DO NOT ASK FOR ACCEPTANCE!!!

One thing we all can agree on is that the internet is an amazing place. One finds all sorts of interesting and unexpected things on here. I guess I have some questions for you if you are willing to answer. I am curious but I have no issue with someone who chooses a lifestyle that I could never imagine living by choice. I dont see how what you are doing hurts anyone else.

1. As for the bdsm aspect I dont want you to get into details about the sexual stuff because anybody could run across this site but how does it work? I dabbled with a little dominance stuff at one time and Im having a hard time figuring out this situation. Can you shed some light on exactly what the fetish is on his part and who is in controll?

2. have you considered making some sort of fetish site *not porn just lifestyle* to help with some income or even save up for yourself? I know of one woman who makes a living drawing comics for her cannibalism community. I imagine you could put enough time into it to make it work.

3. how will you avoid the bedsores and other health side effects from immobility? Due to the increase of public fascination with this subject there have been several documentaries made about people who are immobilzed by their weight and the issues that come from it.

4. have you put into place a contingency plan in case you have a medical emergency? you may need to plan ahead of time because most ambulances are not equiped for a larger person.

thank you for answering these.

I would like to add one more thought. The current fat acceptance is horribly dishonest. Organizations like NAAFA and many of the blogs are a farce. Let's call fat acceptance what it is. It is obesity promotion. I may not agree with this blog but I respect it for its honesty. I would be happy to post your link in my blog and I would be pleased to have discussion about fat acceptance and obesity promotion. Maybe I could change some minds to believe that GLUTTONY IS GOOD!

http://biggerfatterblog.blogspot.com/

Bigger Fatter Blog is the next phase in fat acceptance. The days of justifying our fatness by saying we have a genetic disorder are over. We now freely admit and embrace what the fat haters would call gluttony. We are no longer apologists for our size. We are fat because we eat huge amounts of food and we like it.

I represent the new fat acceptance. Not only do we embrace the fat but we also embrace the gluttony. Theresa is a glutton and gluttony is good. You go girl. Eat till you die baby. What a way to go!

The Fat Acceptance movement is not happy about my Bigger Fatter Blog. We have made the main stream fat acceptance admit that fat people are gluttons. NAAFA 's foolish fat by nature proud by choice is bunk. Our motto is Fat by Choice and Screw You Fat Hater.

We unapologetically promote obesity. All fat acceptance is obesity promotion. We are tired of the hypocrisy. We are tired of hiding NAAFA's dirty little secret of fat porn and feederism. We embrace both.

Theresa, EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT you big fat gainer! Make your feeder proud! Die happy!

lonetruth:
Y’know it just occured to me… if all these fat people took THIS time to go and take a FUCKING WALK around the block, that would do much more good than sitting here defending their fatness. God, I feel dirty now, just imagining all these morbidly obese people sitting around gaining weight. Now I have to go pump some iron and sprint 3 miles, while listening to some big-hair 80s band for inspiration.

You're trying too hard, buddy. "Ooga booga, fat people bad! Me pump iron! Me cooler!"

It made me laugh. I would have laughed right in your face had you said that to me in person.

Look, if you're going to set yourself up as an enemy to fat people, at least respect yourself enough to present us with a credible opponent. Laters!

Lucy:
I find it sad that you are replacing/substituting real life with the internet.

Not me! The Internet's newness has led many to criticize the experiences it offers as not genuine, or inherently inferior, but frankly the advent of the online world is one of the most exciting brushstrokes humanity has accomplished in its entire history. I could enrich myself online for more than a lifetime, and still not run out of things to do.
