So what you're telling me is that my Uncrustables might not be good for me? God damn it! I can't win with you. I already cut down my Uncrustables intake after your blog about them, now those are bad even in moderation? What the hell!?

Holy crap!

You almost had me falling off my chair; AGAIN!

I understand why the cattlemen or the seafood industry or milk or wheat or soy or corn...or whatever industry tells us that sausage or high fructose corn syrup or mercury laced tuna is fine in moderation.

Jobs to keep. Bills to pay.

I understand why the media, politicians, dietitians & doctors espouse the 'everything in moderation' company line

Jobs to keep. Bills to pay.

But why do 'regular' people do it.

Maybe, you're right about the food chain analogy. We think that we are at the top and nothing can hurt us.

Maybe we are just getting stoopidder generation after generation.

Maybe we are scared to death by what's on the news and we seek escape in a big greasy slice of pizza (or a bottle of vodka, but once again, that's another post)

Maybe we all drank the politically correct kool-Aid

Maybe sometime after 1955, we all stopped maturing into adults and held onto our adolescent desire to avoid responsibility for ourselves and our actions.

Ah, hell. My brain is starting to hurt.

Must medicate with cake & ice cream. Just a little bit.
